“The first doses of Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine have arrived in Canada,” Trudeau wrote on Twitter.

He added that 168 thousand doses of this drug will be delivered to Canada by the end of the year, and in total Ottawa has signed a contract with Moderna to supply 40 million doses of the vaccine.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health of Canada issued a permit for the use in the country of the vaccine against coronavirus infection COVID-19, developed by the American company Moderna.
