Bielefeld (dpa / lnw) - The Evangelical Church of Westphalia advises against church services in the Christmas season due to the corona pandemic.
The church announced on Tuesday in Bielefeld that it was a matter of common sense to refrain from gathering people as much as possible in order not to endanger people.
It is therefore urgently recommended that the church congregations refrain from all attendance services and other church meetings in buildings and in the open air with immediate effect and over the Christmas holidays and probably until January 10th.
The very high number of infections showed that the corona pandemic is currently out of control.
