About 30% of NHK pollsters answered that the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics, which were postponed to next year, should be canceled, exceeding the number of those who answered that they should be held.

NHK conducted a pollster for three days from the 11th of this month using a method called "RDD" that calls fixed-line and mobile phone numbers randomly generated by computers for people aged 18 and over nationwide.

The number of people surveyed was 2,164, and 58%, or 1249, responded.

The prosecution is investigating the issue of the social gathering held the night before the "Sakura wo Miru Kai".

When asked how convinced the former Prime Minister Abe's explanation on this issue was, 2% said they were "very convinced", 11% said they were "somewhat convinced", and "not very convinced". 33% and 45% were "not convinced at all".

When asked what they thought about the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics that were postponed to next year, 27% said they should hold it, 32% said they should cancel it, and 31% said they should postpone it. "Should" exceeded "should be held".
