New York police neutralized a man who had opened fire outside the cathedral of Saint John the Divine in Manhattan, outside of which a choir was singing Christmas carols. There is currently no news of wounded among the faithful singing on the steps of the famous church, located in Amsterdam Avenue, in the Morningside Heights neighborhood. According to initial information reported by the US media, the target of the shooter was not the faithful but the police.
