The British writer John le Carré, known for his spy thriller, is dead. He died on Saturday evening at the age of 89, as his agent Jonny Geller announced on Sunday.
The author, whose real name was David Cornwell, became known through intelligence novels such as "The Spy Who Came From the Cold" from the Cold War era.
