A Strasbourg police office targeted by Molotov cocktails

Night had fallen on Thursday when individuals targeted the windows of the Hautepierre district police office with Molotov cocktails and mortars,

The attackers first fired several fireworks mortars against the windows of the room, then several Molotov cocktails.

The latter landed in the middle of the official vehicles, at the risk of setting them on fire.

Fortunately, a policeman succeeded in extinguishing the first flames.

On the other hand, one of his colleagues was injured by the noise of the explosions of firecrackers.

He suffers from tinnitus.

A little later in the evening, add our colleagues, a dozen police officers who came to assess the area were in turn targeted by mortar fire.

CRS came as reinforcements responded with LBD fire.

For now, the perpetrators of this violence are actively sought.
