A 37-year-old Englishwoman disappeared this week in the Pyrenees.
According to the PGHM (high mountain gendarmerie platoon) of Bagnères-de-Luchon, Ester Maria D. left for the mountains on Sunday and had planned to return on Wednesday.
The research concerns a sector which extends from the port of Glère to the port of Vénasque, at the center of the chain, both on the French side and on the Spanish side.
“Even if we understand the emotion aroused by this behavior during this period of confinement, thank you for not commenting on this subject”, indicate the gendarmes on their Facebook page, referring to “an emergency situation”.
