It was just after 12 on Friday when the rescue service was alerted to the E20 in the direction of Eskilstuna and Stockholm after a truck with a trailer drove off the road and overturned.
- It was a calm accident.
There were no injuries, no leaks and no damage on the road.
What we did at the site was to redirect the traffic, says Roger Ehrstedt, internal commander at Räddsam Mälardalen.
Traffic is diverted
According to the police, traffic on the E20 in the direction of Eskilstuna and Stockholm has been stopped.
Instead, traffic is diverted onto county road 734 through Hällbybrunn.
According to the police's forecast, the diversion of traffic is expected to continue until 9 pm tonight.
