The Republicans are looking for a place between La République ne Marche and the National Rally.

During a videoconference convention organized on Tuesday, they debated terrorism and immigration, subjects closely linked according to the right.

On the regal, they believe that Emmanuel Macron is not doing enough. 

Objective 2022. After consulting their members on potential candidates and themes to defend, The Republicans organized a party convention on Tuesday, by videoconference because of the Covid-19, dealing with "the authority of the State and cohesion national ".

Clearly, security and immigration.

The opportunity for the right to unfold its proposals and to oppose the executive.

"Rearm the state" is the philosophy of LR, which wants to show that Emmanuel Macron does not do enough on the regal.

Among the targets of the right, ex-LR Gérald Darmanin, Minister of the Interior.

"We are absolutely stunned by the gesticulation of the Minister of the Interior who has in front of him more than 4,000 foreigners registered S of a terrorist nature and who is going to roll over the need for him to expel 200", tackle Gilles Platret, one of the vice-presidents of the party. 

Immigration and communitarianism 

The Republicans want to change the Constitution to include "the need to fight terrorism."

LR also wants to limit immigration each year or even ban the veil for school guides.

Christian Jacob regrets that the current majority never takes up his proposals.

"We consider that there is a direct link between immigration and communitarianism, and that there is a direct link between terrorism and communitarianism".

Between Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen, of the National Rally, the right-wing party is therefore seeking its place.

"2022 will be played on these subjects", predicts a leader.

Failing to have a candidate, LR wants to show up at work.
