China's health authorities have stepped up the level of quarantine measures to ensure that passengers departing from South Korea are also tested for nucleic acids twice before boarding flights.

This is due to China's raising the level of quarantine for foreign visitors as Corona 19 spreads again in some countries, including the UK.

According to the Chinese embassy in South Korea, the Chinese authorities said that starting from 0:00 on the 11th, all Chinese and foreign passengers will require two corona19 nucleic acid test (PCR) negative certificates before boarding.

Accordingly, all passengers departing from Korea must undergo a nucleic acid test every 3 hours or more at two designated medical institutions within 48 hours prior to boarding.

If the test results are negative, you must present the test results in a batch form to the airline before you can board a flight to China.

If you are unable to obtain a second result due to time, you can board by presenting the receipt of the second examination hospital and a text message of the examination result to the airline.

For temporary flights or charter passengers departing from Korea, the inspection is conducted once at two designated medical institutions within 72 hours before boarding, but the second inspection must be conducted within 36 hours before boarding.

Passengers departing from Korea and transiting to a third country must meet the same conditions as direct passengers flying from Korea to China.

In addition, you must submit the HS Health QR Code or Health Status Statement issued by the Chinese embassy or consulate in Korea.

Earlier, on the 4th, the Chinese authorities imposed a ban on entry of foreigners to countries with worsened corona19 conditions, such as the UK, the Philippines and Belgium.

On the 5th, eight countries, including India, France, Russia, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Italy, Nigeria, and Ukraine, were additionally designated as foreign entry bans.

The ban is restricted to foreigners who are not Chinese nationals, and entry of foreigners with valid visas or residence permits is also prohibited in principle.
