What is China's comment?

In this regard, the spokesperson of the mission to the European Union pointed out that the so-called accusation that China "arbitrarily detained" foreign citizens is groundless.

"China is a country under the rule of law, and we are determined to crack down on criminal activities that endanger national security in accordance with the law and resolutely safeguard national security interests. Chinese judicial organs handle relevant cases in strict accordance with the law, and the legitimate rights and interests of relevant persons involved in the case are effectively protected in accordance with the law."

The spokesperson emphasized that irresponsible remarks made by the EU and Canada, ignoring the rule of law, and interfering in China's judicial sovereignty are unacceptable.
