On October 29, local time, France encountered multiple attacks.

Among them, a knife attack near a church in the southern city of Nice killed at least three people and injured many others.

That night, President Macron said at the scene of the crime that France would never give in to such behavior.

According to reports, the mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, dismissed the incident as a terrorist attack. He stated on social media that the attack took place in and near the Notre-Dame church. Samuel Paty) was beheaded similarly.

Esterosi said that even after being detained by the police, the attackers continued to chant religious slogans repeatedly.

He said at the scene of the crime, “This is an attack against our values, our freedom, and religious freedom.
