But also with the boom in SNCF ticket sales just a few hours from the fateful deadline.

According to our information, 50,000 TGV SNCF tickets were sold on Thursday for departures from Paris before November 1.

75% increase in sales

This is a 75% increase over the sales of the previous days.

And the stability of sales in the direction of returns to Paris confirms that this is indeed a flight from the capital.

The SNCF also records a large number of cancellations for trips beyond November 1 due to confinement.

The trend has doubled since Wednesday evening.
