According to the fund, an amount of 37 million and 321 thousand and 395 dirhams has been directed to relieve the distress of 861 families of debtors in the country, under the scope of the "Khalas" project during the past 10 years, stressing that it receives applications for cases of deserving debtors electronically on condition of registration with ID.

The fund has identified 14 identification documents that must be completed by its customers who are entitled to zakat, the first of which are copies of passports and a summary of registration for citizens, or copies of the Emirates ID card (valid), valid residency for non-citizens, for the whole family, and a status certificate (non-marriage - non-work) For the beneficiary and for children from the age of 18 years and over, or proof of study in the event of continuity of study, and a detailed salary certificate approved by the employer, indicating that the employee has access to housing and education for children (government sector - or the private sector, with a certified copy of the work contract).
