The first trial sentenced to 15 years in prison, and the second trial in February admitted more than the first trial for the amount received by former President Lee, making the sentence heavier, 17 years in prison and a fine of 130. In response, both former President Lee, who claims innocence, and the prosecution, who is dissatisfied with the sentencing, have appealed.
