After the Kim Shin-jo incident in 1968, a part of Bukak Mountain behind the Blue House, where public access was restricted, will be opened after 52 years.

From this Sunday, you will be able to enjoy walking through this road to Bukhansan and Inwangsan.

road that will be opened this time is on the north side when Bukaksan is divided into north and south based on the Hanyangdoseong Fortress Road.



This is a place where citizens have been banned from entering after the'Kim Shin-jo incident', when North Korean agents attempted to attack the Blue House via Mt. Bukak on January 21, 1968.



This time, the four entrances on the north side of the fortress were opened, creating a circumference path that anyone can walk.



As the place opens, you can enjoy a seamless hike from Ansan, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul to Inwangsan and Bukaksan, and Bukhansan.



In 2007, during the days of the late President Roh Moo-hyun, some sections of Bukaksan were opened.
