Police have arrested a 32-year-old Spanish man accused of drugging another person with burundanga, leaving him in a coma for seven days.

When he managed to drug him with chemical submission,

he took 6,000 euros from his bank accounts using popular mobile money transfer applications

.

The arrested person is charged with the crime of illegal detention, the crime of robbery with violence and a crime against public health.

The investigation began once the victim recovered and was able to report the events to the police station.

He related that he had arranged an appointment with a person in a hotel establishment in the city of Madrid.

Once there,

the detainee administered a high dose of narcotic substance to the man, causing the victim to remain unconscious

for two days.

After these 48 hours, they

left the hotel and went to the detainee's home

where he continued to give him more drugs.

Taking advantage of this circumstance, he made several bank transfers through applications to accounts he owned and thus achieved a supposed profit of almost 6,000 euros.

Due to the high drug intake,

the victim fell into a coma, so the arrested man himself took him to a hospital

where he remained in that state for more than a week.

In the search carried out at the home of the detainee, where the victim had remained during those days, various narcotic substances were found, as well as almost empty containers that had contained liquid narcotic substances and burundanga.
