According to statistics, from May 6 to October 26, the average daily traffic volume of highways across the country was 31.9675 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 5.39%.
This increase was 1.18 percentage points higher than the average daily cross-section traffic flow of the general national and provincial trunk lines.
The number of toll stations with daily congestion of more than 500 meters on the expressway decreased by 62.29% compared with the same period of last year. The congestion of toll stations at the entrances and exits of expressways has been alleviated.

Wu Chungeng said that during the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday this year, the national expressway traffic peaked at 53.016 million vehicles in a single day, a year-on-year increase of 0.85%. The number of toll stations with slow congestion dropped by 54.9% year-on-year.
