China News Service, October 26. According to foreign media reports, on the 25th local time, British special forces carried out a raid on a suspected hijacked tanker in the English Channel and obtained control of the tanker from seven stowaways.

All the crew on the ship are said to be safe and sound.

  The British Ministry of Defence stated that the Secretary of Defense Ben Wallace and the Secretary of the Interior Pritty Patel authorized the armed forces to board the ship "to ensure the safety of life and protect the vessel suspected of being hijacked."

  According to reports, the special forces boarded the hijacked oil tanker near the Isle of Wight in southern England, just a few miles from the headquarters of the special forces.
