The parents of the girl were sentenced Friday to one year in prison including four months suspended, accompanied by a ban from French territory for five years.

They were expelled on Saturday to Sarajevo. 

Five members of the family of the young Bosnian Muslim girl, who had been shaved in Besançon because she was in love with a young Christian Serb, were expelled on Saturday to Sarajevo, the Minister of the Interior said in a statement.

These are the parents of the girl and their three children, it was specified in the entourage of Gérald Darmanin. The parents were arrested on Friday evening at the end of their trial, which ended with their sentence to one year in prison including four months of suspension, accompanied by a ban from French territory for five years.
