)," O'Brien said.

He noted that the US will continue its strongest diplomatic efforts at all levels until the conflict is resolved.

“At a meeting with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, I put pressure to return to negotiations with Armenia under the auspices of the Minsk Group, so that there was a rejection of external forces that would further destabilize the situation,” added Trump's adviser.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that good progress has been made in the negotiations on Nagorno-Karabakh.
