Al-Ahly of Egypt qualified for the final match of the African Champions League after its victory over Moroccan Wydad 3-1 today, Friday, in the second leg of the semi-final of the tournament.

Al-Ahly had won the first-leg match in Morocco with two clean goals to go to the final, winning the aggregate match 5-1.

"Club of the Century" was scored by Marawan Mohsen (7), Hussein El Shahat (26) and Yasser Ibrahim (59). As for the face-saving goal for the Moroccan team, it was scored by Zuhair Al-Marjee (82).

Al-Ahly raised its goal tally in the tournament to 34 goals, to achieve the record in terms of the number of goals scored in one version of the tournament, as it surpassed the Nigerian Enyimba number, who scored 31 goals in the tournament in 2003.

Al-Ahly can boost the record if it scores goals in the final match, which will be held in Egypt.

In the final match, which will be held on the sixth of next month, Al-Ahly is waiting for the winner from Egyptian Zamalek and Moroccan Raja, knowing that Zamalek won the first-leg match that was held in Morocco with a clean goal.
