The Lyonnaises Wendie Renard and Amel Majri, usual holders of the France team who had expressed themselves in recent days on the non-convocation of captain Amandine Henry, were left on the bench against North Macedonia, Friday in Orleans (9:00 p.m.).
Absent from the rally for a positive Covid-19 test but in close contact with her staff throughout the week, coach Corinne Deacon left these two executives on the sidelines, eight days after having already created a surprise by not not summoning their teammate Henry for "sporting criteria".
