The Bruno Mathsson Prize of SEK 250,000 is the largest design prize in the Nordic region and has been awarded since 1984.

Bruno Mathsson (1907-1988) from Värnamo is one of Sweden's most internationally known furniture designers.

The prize is awarded to a designer in the spirit of Bruno Mathsson.

This year, the prize went to the British-Swedish furniture designer Chris Martin, Stockholm, who is known for the chair "Ten".

He has also worked for IKEA for ten years.
