The staff of the Good Chance Theatre stated that "Little Aimo", which represents a nine-year-old girl, symbolizes "all refugees separated and displaced from their families."

The Good Chance Theatre is a folk theater troupe established in 2015 in an informal refugee camp in Calais, France.

According to the Athens News Agency, in order to complete this refugee art project, Good Chance Theater cooperated with Hamstring Puppet Company.

The company is the production group of the successful puppet show "War Horse".

During the journey of "Little Aimo", more than 70 towns and villages will host a series of artistic activities to welcome her.

From large-scale parades in the streets to large-scale music, dance and theater performances, everything is available.

Each stage of the journey will be broadcast live on the Internet.

It is expected that in July 2021, "Little Aimo" will reach the end of her journey-Manchester International Music Festival.

In addition to the "Walking" art event itself, the organizer will also promote an educational project.

Before, during and after the journey of "Little Aimo", she will communicate and connect with young people in the refugee community (and all young people) through innovative courses specially designed for various places.

The goal of the educational project is to draw the public’s attention to millions of displaced refugee children who are now in a pandemic and are more vulnerable than ever.

All funds raised in the fundraising activities will be donated and become financial support to the refugees.

The Good Chance Theatre said in a statement: "At this critical moment of unprecedented global changes, "Walk" is our artistic response. This work symbolizes cultural roaming across national borders, politics and language. With the mission of telling human stories in the new era, bringing the stories of tens of thousands of refugee children and each of them into the public eye." (Xu Jiayi)
