Al-Ahmadi .. The first woman appointed as an assistant to the Speaker of the Shura Council in Saudi Arabia

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz issued yesterday an order stipulating the appointment of Hanan bint Abdul Rahim bin Mutlaq Al-Ahmadi as assistant to the Speaker of the Shura Council at the excellent rank, and her appointment to this high position recorded a precedent in the history of the Kingdom.

Dr. Hanan Al-Ahmadi was born in Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, and completed her postgraduate education in the United States of America, where she obtained a Bachelor of Administrative Sciences from the Department of Economics at King Saud University in 1986, and a Masters in Health Administration from the College of Graduate Studies in Public Health and Tropical Medicine From Tulane University in the United States of America in 1989, she also obtained a doctorate in health administration from the Graduate School of Public Health at the University of Pittsburgh in the United States of America in 1995, and she received many scientific excellence awards from the Saudi Cultural Attaché during her masters and doctoral studies. .

Dr. Hanan Al-Ahmadi has an accomplished career in Saudi Arabia, as she held several positions during her career in a number of important sectors in the Kingdom, and worked as the health administration coordinator in the women's branch of the Institute of Public Administration from 2004 to 2008.

She also held the position of Senior Program Coordinator in the Women's Branch of the Institute of Public Administration from 2008 to 2009, and from 2009 to 2012.

She also held the position of Director General of the Women's Branch of the Institute of Public Administration, and the year 2012 witnessed her appointment as a member of the Shura Council.

Dr. Hanan Al-Ahmadi has a number of researches in the field of health administration in both Arabic and English, and in a number of scientific journals and journals inside and outside the Kingdom, and has participated in a number of applied seminars, training programs and courses inside and outside the Kingdom.

Dr. Hanan plays an important role through the positions she held, and is an effective model for the female component within the Shura Council, which made her ranked eighth at the top of the list of the 30 most powerful and influential women in Saudi society, according to the report issued by Arabian Business in 2014, according to Saudi Okaz newspaper.
