Iraqis circulated on social media a heinous crime committed by a woman when she threw her two children from a bridge in the Tigris River in Baghdad.

A video broadcast by the pioneers of the communication sites shows the woman performing her actions from the Imams Bridge, which connects the Kadhimiya and Al-Adhamiya regions adjacent to the Tigris River in Baghdad.

As soon as the video was broadcast, the security forces quickly arrested the woman, who confessed after interrogating her, saying that she did so as a result of disagreements with her ex-husband, according to Iraqi media.

A moving video of the father of the two children also spread from the scene of the accident, as he was crying loudly for his two children, while the search and rescue teams were searching for their bodies, and Iraqi sources said that rescue teams were able to retrieve the bodies of the two children later.

Many Iraqi commentators denounced this act of the mother, expressing their great sadness and sympathy for the father of the two children.
