Nobel laureate: "I question the Big Bang really was the beginning"

Roger Penrose wrote in his book "Cycles of Time" about how he views the Big Bang.

The period that has elapsed since the Big Bang, and in which we now live, is just one of the "eons" that have appeared in the universe.

Penrose believes that this can be seen in traces of collisions between black holes from the time before the Big Bang.
