But they see both risks of spreading the infection and more jobs for staff.

 - Those who live do not have much time left in life, they must be allowed to meet their relatives.

In the long run, it is difficult to have it without visits, says Ann-Charlotte Reisek, who is the medically responsible nurse in Storuman.

The nurses say that the accommodation will follow the recommendations set by the Public Health Agency and the National Board of Health and Welfare.

- We have created routines based on the recommendations that exist.

This means, for example, that each visitor must be declared healthy and the visits must be booked in advance.

In addition, visitors must keep a distance of 2 meters and disinfect hands when they go in and out, says Fausta Marjanovic in Bjurholm.

In Umeå, both visitors and staff staying inside the accommodation are recommended to wear mouth guards, due to the infection situation in Umeå municipality.
