It is noted that "the state will provide financial support to the Corporation for the Development of the Far East (KRDV), which performs the function of the managing company of the Arctic zone." 

"The funds will be provided by the KRDV to finance the costs associated with the creation of its subsidiaries, with the work on accepting applications for the conclusion of agreements on investment activities and the direct conclusion of such agreements, as well as with the maintenance of the register of residents of the Arctic zone and the performance of other functions stipulated by law" , - the message says.

It is noted that "the result of the subsidy should be the attraction of off-budget investments in the economy of the Arctic zone and the creation of new jobs in these important territories for the country."

The Cabinet of Ministers said that the Far East Development Corporation began accepting applications for obtaining the status of a resident of the Arctic zone at the end of August 2020.

The government explained that individual entrepreneurs and companies planning to implement a new investment project or launch a new type of economic activity with capital investments of at least 1 million rubles can apply for it.
