A new outbreak of "Corona" in New York

Today, New York State has witnessed the number of injuries exceeding the thousand in one day, according to local officials.

The state has not recorded such a spike in infections since June 5, according to statistics released by Governor Andrew Como's office.

"After examining about 100,000 cases, 1005 cases came out positive," Cuomo said in a tweet.

"It is imperative that the New Yorkers continue to practice basic behaviors that drive our ability to fight COVID-19 as we approach the fall season and the flu," he added.

"We will continue to monitor data closely and keep New Yorkers informed so they can make informed decisions for themselves and their families," he said.

Overall, the health situation in New York State has improved since the virus crisis peaked last spring.

And restaurants in New York state, which used to receive customers outdoors only, will be allowed to operate from Wednesday 25 percent of the capacity indoors.

On Friday, the total number of Covid-19 cases in the United States has reached 7 million since the start of the outbreak, and the disease has also killed about 205,000 people, according to Johns Hopkins University.
