Inter Milan, decided to stop the reign of Juventus, launches its season on Saturday against Fiorentina during the second day of Serie A which will offer a first test to Juve de Pirlo, on the ground of Roma on Sunday.

Still with Antonio Conte as coach, remained despite the doubts expressed aloud after the final lost in the Europa League at the end of August, the Milanese are setting out again to assault the fortress Bianconera after having obtained an additional week of preparation due to the matches of the month August.

They can rely on the certainties of last season: the understanding of the offensive duo Romelu Lukaku-Lautaro Martinez, Barella in form in the middle, the promising Bastoni behind.

And on some reinforcements of weight like the fast Achraf Hakimi (ex-Dortmund) on the right or the eagerly awaited Arturo Vidal (ex-Barcelona) in the midfield.

Vidal, however, could start on the bench and allow Christian Eriksen, who has always sought his place in Conte's system since his arrival in January, to show himself at the start of the season.

The ambition displayed by the Nerazzurri will experience a first calibration in San Siro against Fiorentina Franck Ribéry, started on the right foot against Torino (1-0).

Atalanta Bergamo, like Inter, do not start their championship until Saturday.

Gian Piero Gasperini is still deprived of his striker Josip Ilicic, who is trying to overcome the personal issues that have kept him from playing in the Champions League this summer.

But it can be based on well-established offensive game principles which brought the "Dea" to new heights last year.

Atalanta begins on the ground of Torino, revenge and decided to wash away the affront of the 7-0 suffered in January at home.

Lazio Rome, with a team almost unchanged from the one that has long tickled Juve last season, also begins its season in Cagliari, where the experienced Diego Godin has just arrived.

The poster for this second day is expected Sunday evening with the trip to Rome from Juventus, to confirm the impeccable launch of the Pirlo era against Sampdoria (3-0).

Alvaro Morata, barely arrived, and Paolo Dybala, in recovery, could be first on the bench, and the Turin coach could renew the duo Cristiano Ronaldo-Kulusevski in attack.

Roma are already playing big after a disastrous start: the sluggish 0-0 won on Hellas Verona on Matchday 1 turned into a 3-0 defeat on the green carpet due to an administrative blunder, with the forgetting to register the middle Amadou Diawara.

The Giallorossi will be keen to erase this initial misstep, with perhaps the return to the holder of Edin Dzeko, after his abortive transfer to ... Juve.
