The Sharjah Private Education Authority confirmed that it had conducted Corona examinations for 90% of students in private schools in the emirate, in cooperation with the schools and the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, in preparation for receiving students in the classrooms after announcing the gradual return to schools, within the direct and hybrid education systems, confirming that the examinations Corona is free of charge, and students 'or schools' families are not assigned any fees.

She explained to "Emirates Today" that the students who will begin education in schools - and their percentage reaches 25% of the total number of students in the first week in each school and according to the capacity of each school - have completed the Corona examinations and are ready to go to their schools, indicating that graduation will take place permanently. Schools according to the scenarios and approved plans for each school, which was also approved by the authority to reach 100% within four weeks, as schools will start receiving 25% of students in the first week, 50% to 60% in the second week, 75% in the third week, and 100% In the fourth week, according to the capacity of each school and the protocols developed and approved by the authority.

The authority pointed out that it had circulated for schools to re-examine students who had previously been examined, and their work hours were postponed based on the decision of the local crisis and disaster committee in the emirate, in order to ensure their safety and the safety of other students and educational staff, adding that nurses in schools were trained on a mechanism to conduct examinations. Corona »for students, and schools, which have fewer than 100 students, were circulated to conduct examinations inside them, and all schools with more than 100 students, to distribute them to centers designated for their examination.

She indicated that she distributed lists of the names of students who should be examined, who chose hybrid or direct education, and then the lists were sent to the competent authorities in the Ministry of Health and Community Protection, indicating that all those enrolled in the lists were sent letters with the date and place of their examination in the approved centers in each region in Sharjah, 90% of them have been examined and the rest are being examined. It is expected that all students will be completed in the coming days.

The authority indicated that there is a preventive guide against the Corona virus, prepared in cooperation with the Prevention and Safety Authority in Sharjah, and circulated to private schools, and includes several preventive measures, including requirements for periodic sterilization, commitment to physical distancing, as well as the requirements for personal protection, transportation and food, The guide includes all the important aspects of preventing the risks of the virus, in accordance with the preventive measures, to ensure the protection of students and the educational and administrative staff in schools, which contributes to enabling students and teachers to return in comfort and safety to enable them to focus on the educational process.

She drew attention to the formation of field committees to ensure the implementation of procedures for the gradual return of students, and the regularity of attendance in accordance with the health protocol, stressing the importance of adherence to all protocols, health and safety requirements and conditions in schools, and full compliance with the application of the requirements and instructions of the guide.

Maintaining students' safety

Private school administrations confirmed that they had completed free examinations for "Covid-19" for students and the educational and administrative bodies, in preparation for receiving students, the day after tomorrow, from those who chose the (hybrid learning) system, indicating that they had sent messages to students' families stating that schools were ready to receive their children. They will not be permitted to enter the school campus, in the event that no Corona tests are conducted, in order to preserve the safety of students.

She explained to "Emirates Today" that schools are ready to receive students gradually, according to the protocols, scenarios and plans set by the Sharjah Special Education Authority, to achieve full-time and hybrid education, pointing out that most of the students' families chose "direct education", while a few of them preferred the education system over Dimension, during the first semester, indicating that they have developed electronic systems to give direct and distance education at the same time.
