Bayern Munich won the European Super Cup by defeating Sevilla 2-1 after extra time, as the matchday ended in a 1-1 draw.
The match was held at the Puskas Arena in the Hungarian capital, Budapest, with 20,000 spectators attending, accounting for a third of the stadium's 60,000 capacity.
Sevilla, who are crowned European champions, took a penalty kick scored by Lucas Ocampos in the 13th minute, and Leon Goretska equalized the score for Bayern in the 34th minute.
The video assistant referee (Farr) canceled the lead scored by Robert Lewandowski in the 51st minute for Bayern, who had crowned the Champions League.
The match extended for extra time on two halves, which Bayern Munich decided in favor of Javier Martinez, who scored the winning goal in the 104th minute.
