Yesterday, the Palestinian Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced the registration of 713 new cases of the new Corona virus and five deaths, while the Israeli authorities announced the imposition of a comprehensive and tight closure for a period of two weeks, to cope with the high cases of HIV infection inside Israel.

Al-Kailah said in a press statement, that Jerusalem recorded the highest number of new injuries in Palestine, with a total of 210 injuries, noting that this was the outcome of injuries over two days, followed by Hebron Governorate with 133 cases, and the Gaza Strip recorded 95 injuries, while the distribution The rest of the injuries occurred in different areas of the West Bank.

She added that there are 42 patients "in intensive care rooms, including 11 on artificial respirators."

In addition, the Israeli Ministerial Cabinet for Coronavirus Affairs decided to impose a comprehensive and tight lockdown for a period of two weeks, starting at two o'clock local time today, to cope with the increase in cases of the new Corona virus.

The new restrictions include closing non-essential businesses and markets, as well as limiting the number of participants in demonstrations or prayers in open spaces to 20, provided that the gatherings are only a kilometer away from their homes.

The synagogues will be closed except for Yom Kippur, which begins on the evening of tomorrow and lasts for 25 hours, when citizens will be allowed to perform prayers according to specific rules, public transport will operate in a limited way, and sports competitions will be prohibited, except for official international competitions.

It is scheduled to end the strict closures in Israel after the Jewish holiday season on October 11th.

Jerusalem records the highest number of new infections with the "virus", followed by Hebron Governorate.
