Putting his right hand on the Constitution, Lukashenko took the oath in Belarusian.

After that, he signed the act of taking the oath, after which the head of the CEC, Lidia Yermoshina, presented him with a presidential certificate.

In mid-August, the CEC of Belarus noted that Lukashenka's inauguration would take place within two months.
