22 September 2020The Court of Cassation acquitted the former head of Cabinet of the Lazio Region Maurizio Venafro, accused of auction disruption and sentenced in May 2019 in second instance to one year with suspended sentence as part of one of the strands of the Mafia trial Capital.
The judges of Piazza Cavour also ordered a new trial for Mario Monge, manager of the Sol.Co. cooperative, sentenced to one year and 4 months.
The former right arm of Nicola Zingaretti had already been acquitted in the first instance with full formula.
The disputed facts referred to the awarding of the tender for the assignment of the Lazio Region Cup service in 2014.
