Actor Ramy Youssef mocked the recent Emmy Award Ceremony, which was held on Sunday, after it was broadcast without a red carpet or an audience.

The American actor of Egyptian descent posted a satirical video on his official Twitter account, wearing a protective suit inspired by the precautionary measures to limit the spread of the Corona virus (Covid-19).

Youssef appeared in the video, waving his hand behind a glass window holding an Emmy award, and writing, commenting "When you lose an Emmy award", where Canadian actor Eugene Levy won the award for best main actor for his comedy series "Schitt's Creek".

The Televison Academy, responsible for managing the Emmy Awards, announced last Friday that the concert hosts will present the awards in Tuxedo evening wear, but it is in the design of virus protection suits.

The award show looked different this year, with host Jimmy Kimmel of the Staples Center in Los Angeles hosting an audience without an audience, and the 52-year-old comedian mocked the unusual circumstances while presenting the concert.

He began his speech with "Welcome to Item Eames, thank me for risking everything to be here," referring to the Corona pandemic and the Emmy Awards.

“Why are we having an awards ceremony in the midst of a pandemic? What am I doing here?” As the camera cuts clips of old audiences from previous TV shows, Kimmel added jokingly. The comedian also made sure to social distancing while hosting American actress Jennifer Aniston, saying that the distance Social 60 feet.

In an interview with USA Today, Kimmel described the Emmy Awards ceremony as being homeschooling, saying, "There will be a bunch of people in front of their computer cameras."

In turn, the American actress "Tracy Ellis Ross" shared a video clip, wearing a special dress for the party, and standing on a red carpet, to feel the usual atmosphere of the Emmy Awards.

"I made my own red carpet for the Emmy Awards, with some camera shots. Yes, it's a bit dirty, but it doesn't matter, it was fun!" She tweeted.

I made my own red carpet for the #Emmys, complete with some camera clicks 😂😂😂 yes it's a little janky, but hey — it was fun!
