September 20, 2020 Donald Trump blesses an agreement on TikTok, the Chinese app accused by the president of representing a danger to the nation, postponing the ban on downloads by one week.

Postponed and not withdrawn, a sign of a game still open with China, which has not yet expressed itself on the agreement.

Oracle and Walmart are expected to acquire 20 percent, and Trump speculates a Texas office.

The agreement sees Oracle as TikTok's technology partner, and Walmart as a business partner.

Against the download ban, TikTok sues the Trump administration.



The American restrictions on TikTok are therefore postponed by a week to 27 September.

This was stated by the Department of Commerce, stressing that the postponement of the app download ban was decided on the recommendation of Donald Trump.

The stop should have been triggered in the next few hours, on the night between Sunday and Monday.

But following ongoing negotiations and the blessing of the deal with Oracle and Walmart, a postponement was decided
