But, of course, we are friendly countries with Russia, and I know that Russians, as people, support Belarusians, ”she said.
As Tikhanovskaya noted, “it is a pity that Mr Putin supported Lukashenka.”
“But this is his decision, his choice, we cannot influence him in any way.
But we are always open, our coordinating council is always open to dialogue.
I am also open to dialogue with representatives of the Russian Federation, ”she added.
Tikhanovskaya previously stated that she was open to communication with the Russian authorities.
In addition, she noted the opposition's readiness to view Russia as a mediator if the situation in Belarus cannot be resolved without international assistance.
