“Today, at about 4:25 pm, a man, driving an off-road vehicle, hit the gate of the building fence in the area of house number 10 on Spasopeskovsky lane.
Police officers detained the driver at the scene, ”TASS reports.
According to the department, the driver born in 1976 was intoxicated, he was sent for a medical examination.
There were no casualties as a result of the incident, the press service added.
All the circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
Earlier, the press secretary of the American embassy in Russia, Rebecca Ross, said that an unknown person crashed a car into the perimeter of Spaso House. Ambassador John Sullivan himself was not at home at the time.
