A sixty-year-old man died this Thursday around 5 p.m. in a diving accident in Cavalaire-sur-Mer in the Var,

sources.

After a deep dive of 40 meters on the wreck

with his wife, this man suffered from discomfort on the last stop, at a depth of six meters.

His wife then assisted him to bring him to the surface before warning the emergency services who tried to resuscitate him, in vain.

The wife of the victim "presented disorders following a diving accident", specify the firefighters of Var.
