A sixty-year-old was sentenced on Tuesday to six years in prison by the Haute-Sâone Assize Court, in Vesoul.
He was convicted of rape and sexual assault committed between 2003 and 2010, reports

The victims were his daughters-in-law, the children of his ex-partner.
The two had denounced the facts in 2014, complaining of serious acts, from 2003 to 2010, when they were respectively aged 17 to 21 and 15 to 19.
At the hearing, the retiree only spoke of “consented” touching, not rape.
