Su-27 intercepted US and British aircraft over the Black Sea

According to the National Defense Control Center of the Russian Federation, the means of controlling the airspace over the neutral waters of the Black Sea detected two air targets approaching the state border of Russia, and the Su-27 was raised into the air.

"The crew of the Russian fighter approached a safe distance to the air targets and identified them as strategic reconnaissance aircraft RC-135 of the US Air Force and the British Air Force," the report says.

It was also reported that a Russian Su-27 climbed to intercept a US Navy patrol aircraft over the Baltic Sea.
