“The OPCW Technical Secretariat confirmed to us that neither 9 nor 10 September Germany transferred anything to the organization.

The only thing that came from Berlin was the well-known letter of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Miguel Berger on September 3, ”the Russian agency TASS quotes.

They added that Russia is ready to cooperate with the organization and use the convention mechanisms to clarify the circumstances of the case.

At the same time, in a conversation with RIA Novosti, Russia's Permanent Representative to the OPCW, Alexander Shulgin, assured that if "partners from Germany want to use the mechanisms of the CWC", Russia is ready for such a "turnaround".

Earlier, the representative of the Foreign Ministry of Germany, Maria Adebar, said that the German authorities are in contact with the OPCW and will discuss further steps on the situation with Alexei Navalny.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow has accumulated many questions for Berlin in connection with the inappropriate attitude to the requests sent to the German authorities on the situation around Alexei Navalny.

As noted by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, Berlin is "bluffing" in the situation with Navalny.

She stated that Moscow expects the FRG to provide all available data.
