The Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to China James Kimonio said in an exclusive interview with a reporter from China News Agency on the sidelines of the China International Trade in Services Fair that Rwanda is very enthusiastic about participating in the Trade Fair.

When foreign companies register and invest in Rwanda, it also means gaining access to the entire African market.

Now, Rwanda is one of the easiest places to do business on the African continent, second only to Mauritius, and ranked first in East Africa.

In order to achieve the ease of doing business today, Rwanda has undertaken extensive and thorough business reforms to attract foreign investment.

This also means that from the beginning of the registration business, financial transactions, legal frameworks, taxation systems and other issues that are most concerned by entrepreneurs, we have all emphasized them in the reform.

James Kimonio said that we came to share the purpose, hoping that more Chinese companies can invest in Rwanda.

Because after extensive and thorough reforms, we hope to introduce the many investment opportunities in Rwanda to Chinese investors, including agriculture, transportation, mining and other fields.

We can now accurately locate key projects in these areas.

Of course, many investors want to know the market potential of Rwanda, although the population of Rwanda itself is not large, only 12 million people.

However, Rwanda is a member of the East African Community and part of the Common Market for East and South Africa (COMESA), which covers about 500 million people.

At the same time, Rwanda is also a member of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), so when foreign companies register and invest in Rwanda, it also means gaining access to the entire African market. Such opportunities will excite many investors.
