North Korea: Who is Kim Yo-jong, Kim Jong-un's sister? - 20 minutes

She is THE shadow woman of North Korea. And if the rumors about Kim Jong-un's state of health are confirmed, she may well take over.

Born in 1988, Kim Yo-jong is the result of the union between Kim Jong-il and his third wife, the dancer Ko Yong-hui. She first appeared publicly at her father's funeral in 2011.

Closer and closer to power

Since then, Kim Yo-jong has gained ground. Officially, she is only an alternate member of the political bureau of the Workers' Party of Korea. But in reality, she has been given more and more responsibilities within the North Korean apparatus.

She now handles relations with South Korea and the United States, and has become one of Kim Jong-un's closest advisers. How far will it go?
