“I am not afraid of a direct dialogue with the President of Russia. I think this is correct. If we have the opportunity to talk, and the results of these negotiations can help move closer to ending the war, this should be done, regardless of how different people or different regions react to it, ”he added.
As Zelensky noted, there will be no result without dialogue.
“I understand this very clearly. If there is no dialogue, if there are no phone calls when necessary, there will be no peaceful result. I am convinced of this, ”he concluded.
On July 26, Putin and Zelensky held a telephone conversation, during which they discussed the internal Ukrainian crisis.
During the conversation, they spoke in favor of the implementation of the agreements reached at the Normandy Four summit in Paris.
