Today, Tuesday, the occupation army bombed sites of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip, but no injuries were reported. This comes in the latest escalation measure about two weeks ago in response to the launch of incendiary balloons targeting Israeli territory adjacent to the besieged Gaza Strip.

"Warplanes and tanks attacked military sites and underground infrastructure (tunnels) of Hamas in the southern Gaza Strip," the Israeli army said in a statement on Twitter.

Palestinian sources said that the occupation's planes and artillery bombed an empty land, and monitoring sites belonging to the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, in areas located in the southern Gaza Strip. No injuries were reported as a result of the bombing.

Meanwhile, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, announced that four of its members had been killed in an explosion that occurred in the Al-Shujaiya neighborhood (east of Gaza City).

These companies said, in a statement published on their official website, that the four people who died in the explosion were: Iyad Jamal Al-Jadi (42 years), Moataz Amer Al-Moubayed (29 years), Yaqoub Munzer Zaidiya (25 years), and Yahya Farid Al-Moubayed (23 years).

The explosion occurred late on Monday, and the Al-Quds Brigades did not disclose the causes of the explosion, or details about it.

The occupation authorities decided to close the Gaza Sea to fishermen (Anatolia)

Gaza fishermen
Yesterday, the joint chamber of the Palestinian resistance factions in the Gaza Strip confirmed that it will not allow the occupation to invade Palestinian fishermen, pursue them in their livelihoods and attack them.

The joint room said in a press release that it would defend the fishermen and work to protect them in the face of the "criminal" practices of occupation in the Gaza Sea. The Palestinian resistance confirmed that it has measures that enable it to defend Gaza’s shores and its fishermen.

For its part, Hamas blamed the occupation on the results and repercussions of the continued military escalation against the Gaza Strip and the tightening of its siege.

The movement’s spokesman, Fawzi Barhoum, said that the absence of deterrent decisions to the occupation and the continuation of normalization with it pushed him to persist in his crimes and aggression against the Palestinian people.

Barhoum called on the international community and decision-makers in the region to break their silence and work to curb the Israeli aggression and end the blockade of Gaza.

In the context, the Gaza Businessmen Association said that about two thousand industrial establishments were severely affected by the tightening of Israel’s siege on the Strip and the closure of the only commercial outlet. And it warned of the repercussions of the suspension of all economic life facilities and their paralysis due to the worsening of the closure and the tightened siege for the second week in a row.

About two weeks ago, the occupation authorities decided to close the Gaza sea completely to fishermen until further notice, and later issued decisions to prevent the entry of building materials and fuel, in response to the launch of incendiary balloons from the Gaza Strip, she says.

Hamas says that the launchers of the incendiary balloons - which cause fires in the areas adjacent to the Strip - are seeking to force the occupiers to abide by the ceasefire agreements that include easing the siege on Gaza.
