A fatal traffic accident occurred Wednesday evening in the town of Ercé-en-Lamée south of Rennes, we learned this Thursday from the firefighters. While driving on the departmental road 82, a driver for some reason lost control of his van a little before 9 p.m.

The vehicle ran into a tree bordering the road. The shock was very violent. In cardio-respiratory arrest when the emergency services arrived, the victim, aged 31, could not be resuscitated and died on the spot.
